Medical Negligence by Doctors in the Coachella Valley

I have been sick since early 2022 because I hit my head and went momentarily blind and then developed respiratory symptoms and visual symptoms and a never ending headache which apparently I will continue to live with until I can find a better job and see a doctor that cares. I was on the toilet and I fainted fell off the toilet and hit my forehead on the tile. I woke up and couldn't see, started screaming, and then my vision returned.
Two emergency rooms in the valley neglected to treat me and called me crazy. In March 2023, Desert Regional Medical Center didn't even let me talk to a doctor but a doctor wrote all kinds of lies on my chart that has kept me from getting treatment for my symptoms since then. The entry person wrote psychosis on my chart when I did not have psychosis. He wrote that I was hearing voices when I was talking about something that actually happened to me. I came in asking for a tox screen because I had respiratory symptoms and my mother was dumping pesticides all over the house where I was sleeping and I felt like I had ingested something. I worked in pesticide use enforcement for over three years so this was not paranoia as they implied by calling me psychotic. They made me speak to a social worker and did not let me see a doctor because the guy at the door wrote this and so they refused to treat me or address my symptoms. While I was sitting on the bed in the ER, an actual paranoid schizophrenic was freaking out in front of me trying to take off his connections and another man walked by and said something like "they're telling me to kill myself, I'm not going to kill myself." The nurse just grouped me in with these two people which is extremely infuriating considering my background. I just noticed now looking at medical records that the blood work showed an infection that they did not treat or mention. They also did not check my blood gas where they would have found carbon monoxide poisoning, something that should have been done if I came in to the ER saying I've been poisoned. Even if I did have psychosis, it's a medical emergency for a sane individual like myself. Delirium is not psychosis. I was obviously not that psychotic since I still diagnosed myself with toxcitity. My symptoms have always been physical and not mental so this didn't make sense and was confusing. I'm still putting the pieces together now in 2025. I don't have a mental illness I just didn't have insurance because I didn't have a job and I moved from out of state and I was confused because I was getting gassed with carbon monoxide and I was being psychologically abused, first by my family and ex and now by medical staff.
The next day, Eisenhower diagnosed me with carbon monoxide poisoning. Here, an Eisenhower ER doctor told me that my phone charger could be making a high pitched sound instead of looking in my ears or mentioning tinnitus, which is what he wrote on my chart. What is the meaning of this? They left me confused and still sick. It's medical malpractice and attempted psychological torture sending me on a hunt for a sound externally when it was internal. I had to put all the pieces together myself, even self diagnosing with tinnitus because he didn't explain it to me. I didn't know my ears were ringing until I became conscious of it and did research. I just kept writing "the silence is screaming." I had to slowly become conscious of things over time by myself instead of a doctor diagnosing me. It's taken years from my life and I'm still sick. It has also been extremely embarrassing. Other symptoms included extreme weight loss, bulging veins in my arms, increased tension in my neck and shoulders, dilated pupils and shortness of breath, most of which, the doctors ignored. I saw a blood clot or thickening of blood in my armpit that was making my veins bulge in my right arm and I'm mot sure where it went. I started using alcohol as a blood thinner. Eisenhower would have been a good time for me to talk to a social worker because my mother didn't have CO poisoning and refused to take me to the doctor. Why didn't the social worker ask me about being gassed or who I was living with or any details about it? My mother told me there was no gas in the apartment and that the heater was electric but I had severe symptoms like slurred speech, blurred vision, the inability to think and difficulty producing words so it must have come from somewhere in the apartment. There was no follow up on the CO poisoning to prove that I wasn't still being exposed, though I'm pretty sure I was. In sickness, I got a job, where being away from the apartment made me feel better, bought a car and got my own apartment by February 2024 where I was gassed again because there was a natural gas leak in the backyard next to my door. Don't even get me started on how many times I have been gassed in California.
There is only one doctor's office in the Coachella Valley under IEHP insurance that could have treated my symptoms and that is Desert Cities Allergy and Otolaryngology. In September 2023, the doctor not only misdiagnosed me but refused to treat my symptoms or find the true cause of them. He also refused to let me see another doctor in his practice for a second opinion. He did not follow proper procedures which is what lead to the misdiagnosis and, because their diagnostic tests were negative, I was not "sick enough" to be treated or worthy of a proper diagnosis. He did not clean my left ear that was 90 percent blocked according to the nurse that did my hearing test. The nurse said the test was pointless and needed to be redone after ear cleaning when the doctor had just looked in my ears and didn't clean them, so there was no communication between Dr. Torabi and the nurse. Obviously my ear was full of liquid at some point and could have been infected from injury which he did not treat or test for. He then told me that tinnitus was incurable and refused to find the cause. They're lazy, they don't care and they have way too many patients. Dr, Torabi just told me to come back for an ear cleaning in six months. Who needs their ears cleaned? What am I, five years old? He didn't even tell me he ordered an MRI of my sinus. I found out later on the online portal and took it upon myself to get it done. He never went over the results with me and they were abmormal.
I had a procedure in 2024 called eustachian tube balloon dilation. I had to drive an hour and a half to see this doctor and I still had to beg for him to do the procedure after he told me he would and then changed his mind. There was no reason for him not to do it as the MRI showed trauma to my nasal passages and bones and were consistent with my symptoms. My hearing test was normal. I have no hearing loss and the damage to my sinus was from the fall.
These facilities treated me like I was a drug addict, a mentally ill person or a homeless person and I have never been any of the above. I wonder how many other patients go untreated because of their lack of insursnce. Lack of insurance is usually temporary and doesn't represent a person's mental state. I was at risk of homelessness because of my ex, that's why I moved back to California where I thought I could get treatment and find a job. But instead I have just been discriminated against by doctors and employers alike.
I was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center by ambulance in July 2025 because of fainting and swallowing blood, still related to my head injury and may have been worse from a car accident in March 2025. All they did was check my heart and not my head. I recently had to dial 911 in October again because of severe dizzyness and was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center where I learned that they don't do MRIs at all out of the ER. Who in their right mind would go to an ER that doesn't do MRIs or CT scans? They don't do head imaging and they don't care about infectious diseases or checking for gas poisoning. Once again, my bloodwork shows infection and they did not tell me about it. Their bathroom was absolutely disgusting to the point of reporting them to the Center for Disease Control. I was also walked in on while I was on the toilet because my nurse left me inside when she was supposed to be standing at the door waiting for me.
After being fired again, I am back on IEHP. I keep talking to doctors about the same symptoms and their response is that I must be dehydrated or hungry. I am never dehydrated and my blood work is always normal. Just because I'm skinny doesn't mean I'm hungry. Another doctor told me to eat more salt because I had low blood pressure even though my sodium level was normal. Then, she insisted that the infection is an STD even though I haven't been sexually active since 2022 and my blood work was just normal on October 1st. Another prejudice. So you want to say that I've had an STD for three years unnoticed without symptoms but not a sinus infection which is where my symptoms are and have been? These are outrageous things to say to people. These are resident doctors because apparently my insurance doesn't cover a real doctor. Which brings me back to the issue, why can't I get a job that pays me my worth? I'm smarter than the doctors and I'm getting fed up with their assumptions that I'm not intelligent enough to be listened to due to prejudice. This is ridiculous.
